I hold a VCP-DCV and have passed the VMware vSphere with Tanzu: Deploy and Manage [V7] - On Demand
However step 1 states "Attend one of the required training courses". Does this mean I must take the course in the list that has (Required) next to it, or will the VMware vSphere with Tanzu: Deploy and Manage [V7] - On Demand meet the certificate requirements?
See the certificate details here: https://www.vmware.com/learning/certification/vsphere-w-tanzu-specialist.html
For example I see this verbiage on the certificate details page, which is confusing:
VMware vSphere with Tanzu: Deploy and Manage [V7] (Required)
VMware vSphere with Tanzu: Deploy and Manage [V7] - On Demand
VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid: Install, Configure, Manage [V1.3]
VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid: Install, Configure, Manage [V1.3] - On Demand
VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid: Install, Configure, Manage [V1.5]
[VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid: Install, Configure, Manage [V1.5] - On Demand
You only have to complete ONE of the courses in the list.
The fact it says (Required) after the top course in the list is confusing.
Thank you. I will certainly forward this information to the certification team. This will ensure that the issue is addressed and corrected, thereby preventing any confusion for future users.
I will get the team to make the correction to remove 'required' from the first training in the list
Ok, thanks.
