VMware Data Recovery - NFS destination problem

Hi folks,

I have a large cluster (Enterprise Plus) that I'm trying to setup VDR on to backup my machines. I have the appliance imported and the plugin is working. (vCenter 4)

I have 4 large datastores that are shared via NFS that I'd like to use as my backup destination. However I'm having a bit of a time getting VDR to add the network share.

In VDR, I'm going to the Configuration tab, then Destinations, and then Add Network Share. From there, I enter in nfs://192.168.1.100:vol/nfs_share and put in a user/pass that I know is good (I can mount them on any linux box).

VDR then throws an error saying that it could not add the specified network share.

Am I missing a step? I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks!

Which version of VDR are you using?

NFS is only supported as a deduplication store format if the share is presented by an ESX/ESXi Server and the VMDK is assigned to the Data Recovery appliance
