Move VDP to a new vCenter

We are moving to the vCenter appliance. Does anyone know the process for moving VDP to the new vCenter WITHOUT losing any backup data?

You said moving to vCenter appliance so I assume your hosts will be disconnected from existing vCenter and connected to the newly deployed vCenter appliance.

Same with the host which is hosting VDP appliance.

So once you make sure VDP appliance exist within the vCenter appliance(new) then you can always goto VDP configure page and modify the registration to the new vCenter appliance.

Thanks! That's what I suspected was the answer, but wanted to confirm.
