Set Hostname on Platform/Proxy VMs

Hello all

Just successfully deployed vRealize Network Insight.  How do you set the hostname/FQDN on the Platform/Proxy VM?   I can't seem to figure out where is that setting?

Thanks in advance...

Hi,

There is no option to do that, the hostnames of the platform and collector don't matter much (don't get used). Just point a DNS record with the desired hostname to the platform IP and you can access it via that hostname. If you're adding a custom SSL certificate, use that same DNS record as the hostname.
