vrops 7.0 federated management pack

we have a federated instance of vrops pulling from 4 different vrops instances. This all works fine but we wanted to run a report on the federated instance for all the vms across all collected instances do we added the VM name to the metric config file and the relevant vm info that we wanted in the report.

The problem i have is that the adapter display name is appended to the end of the VM name during the import. Is there a way to stop this from happening.

example of a vm name in a list view

Myvmname1 (source vcenter display name)

Seems i worked it out myself

in the advanced setting for the adapter there is a Append 'vROps Host' to Resource Name and is set to true by default. Just change it to false and restarted the collection. This seems to be un documented
