Unable to reach the webinterface vCenter Operations

Hi all,

I installed the 60 day trial to test the product before buying it.

Installation went flawless and I gave the server a static IP and a reboot.

The next step is setting up the connection to our vCenter server.

But when I go to https://<IP> it says it's unreachable.

Anyone suggestions? Thank you.

Hello.

Have you verified that the VM is on the correct network segment, and that the NIC is connected?

Can you ping anything from the console of the vCenter Ops VM?

Can you ping the <IP> address you assigned to the vCenter Ops VM from anywhere else?

Good Luck!

Thanks for the link!

It solved my problem...

The exact line that did the trick for me was:

echo "ALL : ALL" >> /etc/hosts.allow

I have a problem like that. But it have been configured and all is working for 2 days now.

But just after installed Windows 7 Service Pack 1 installed i now have NO access to the webinterface.

I'm using IE8 and Chrome. How come??

What is Microsoft now blocking?
