Supermetrics and excluding dates / times

Not sure if this is something you can do with supermetrics, but if anyone has any suggestions or potential workarounds I'd love to here them.  I made a supermetric to record anytime the CPU Ready of a VM is >5%.  In a view we sum those occurrences so we can easily see how many times during the last week CPU ready was high.  The problem we're running into is that known events like Windows Updates or Symantec scans cause CPU ready spikes after hours.  We're looking for a way in the supermetric to only look at a specific time frame 6AM - 6PM or something like that.  Any ideas?  Thanks,

AFAIK this is not possible currently in vROps to specify a time over multiple days unless you change this each day manually in a view, but this is time consuming. I am not sure if this is on the road map for future versions.

So the only possibility currently is to set the time range manually and change this each day or use the metric chart via date controls.

What about adding the super metric in a view and set the time range in the view from 6AM - 6PM? In addition to that you can add the view in a report for daily overview.

Another option is to create a dashboard using the supermetric in a metric chart and use the date control option to specify the time range.

I was looking for something like that but I don't see a way in a view to specify times unless you do < 24 hour time period.  Like you can configure the view to display data from  2/24/20 6AM - 2/24/20 6PM, but I don't think you can tell it to give you the whole week of data only during 6AM - 6PM.  If you see a way to specify a time over multiple days, please let me know though.  Maybe I'm just missing it.
