How to update vROps to use the vSphere 6 hardening guide?

How does one update vRealize Operations to use the vSphere 6 hardening guide?

You could, at least leveraging the host system config properties that vR Ops collects. You could create new alerts+symptoms for vSphere 6, or update the OOTB alerts. I'd personally do the former and create new alerts+symptoms and create a new group to apply that new policy to only v6 hosts, that way you've still got v5.5 and v6 harden in place reporting on the appropriate host versions (mixed v5.5 and v6 for awhile likely).

If you find this or any other answer useful please mark the answer as correct or helpful.

That's a bit more involved than what I was hoping for (a .pak file to apply), but I appreciate the reply.

Any new insight on this topic?

I know most will equal out between 5.6 and 6, but we are all on vSphere/Vrops 6 so would be nice to see it updated soon.

I have not found what should be a simple solution yet.  I noticed there is a new 6.2 release of vROps (for a different issue I'm having), so I'm going to try that.
