Dashboard sharing is not working properly

Hello everyone,

I've followed many guides, like this one: http://www.vmignite.com/2016/02/vrops-6-how-to-lockdown-user-groups-to-see-only-specific-dashboards-...

In order to prevent some users from seeing unnecessary dashboards.

I'm using a test users with minimal permissions, and assign him to a test group. No dashboard assigned to his group,
and till when I log in with the user, I can see all of them. Sharing or unsharing doesn't seem to do anything.

What am I doing wrong?

If a dashboard is not shared with any groups only the owner should be able to see it.  In the share dashboards window try not selecting any of the groups or select "Not Grouped" and stop sharing for one of the dashboards.  This should stop sharing it with all groups.  If this works you can go back and share it with just the groups you want to see it and the test group should no longer see it.

Are you sure you removed dashboards from the "Everyone" group?  It is listed in step 4 on that link.
