Compute Resource vs Host system

What is the difference between "compute resource" and "host system" object types in vROps? Which one represents a single ESX instance?

I've only ever seen "Cluster Compute Resource" in which case is a Cluster and "Host System" are Hosts.

So to answer your question, use Host System as that will be a singular Host.

Hello,

It does not appear to be listed as an object in the vSphere Server Component documentation ‌for vRops 6.X....perhaps it's something left over from vCOPS 5.x as it does appear to be listed under /suite-api/api/adapterkinds/VMWARE/resourcekinds/ComputeResource

I have never seen it in all the vRops 6.x instances that I have used / built, I have only ever seen Host System used.

Cheers
