vRA 7.2 Machine Custom Property Bindings

Hi All,

Attempting to share property values between machines in a blueprint to be used in vRO workflows to provision storage (guest mounted NFS) via EMC ViPR.  I have working blueprints/workflows for stand alone deployments to create and mount NFS, feed the storage information back to vRA and populate custom properties to be used for later in the lifecycle.  Looking to use those same properties to assist in deployments that share NFS between multiple systems in a blueprint.  Any ideas on how a custom property value from one machine in a blueprint can be shared with others?  Or if there's a better way to do this?

Thanks!

You can create a new custom property on your blueprint and add the NFS share value to it. Then you will need to retrieve all vRA VMs and check if that VM had that custom property defined and then used it further.

Hope this helps..
