How to send an email to owner in 6.1 when VM created

There are several threads about email notifications in vCAC. The 2 options are to enable vCAC notification scenarios and setup outbound email server (can be found in vCAC documentation) or use vCO to send an email when the machine is ready. Send Custom Notification

There's no real good answer right now. Hope this is resolved soon.
