How to configure vCenter Service alarm in vROPS

Hello All,

Is it possible to configure vCenter Service Alarm in vROPS.

When you say vCenter server alarm, could you elaborate?

I want to create alarm in vROPS that if my vCenter service got crashed, vROPS trigger critial alarm and notify me vis email.

You can monitor VM services (include the VC services) as per this guide.

I believe you may need advanced / enterprise licensing for this but take a look and let us know if this works for you: vROPs 6.1 – How to Monitor any Windows Service | VM IGNITE

We are using vROPS Version 6.0.2.2777062 , so, not sure if it support or not because I am not able to see Environment > Operation Systems.  Any suggestions?

Do you see Standard / Advanced or Enterprise listed against the license? Application monitoring requires Enterprise licensing for example: vRealize Operations IT Operations Management: VMware
