Question :
Is there a method/way by which VRA detects an unmanaged VM deployed in a Hyerpvisor and imports the VM in VRA environment
No, not in an automated way. Importation is a manual process
Can I automate this using scripts or any other method?
Sure, can be done several ways including vRO.
Can you please help with 1 example
If you know that a VM is not in the vRA managed inventory you could publish a vRO workflow and apply it to that VM to do essentially what the manual import does. Or do you want to take an entire vCenter and add what's not already in vRA? Both tasks are more involved.
so basically I want to create a workflow which will import an unmanaged VM into VRA. I am looking at ways and means of doing it, we don't have expertise on the tool hence the query on the forum. Also if the workflow is already available then it helps us move fast.
You've got a lot of work ahead of you. You might look at {code} to see if there are examples out there. Cloud Client can also do this.
