To add to PramodCV's comment, if you are not willing to change the files by hand, the other option is, take a backup of Chargeback DB, reinstall chargeback server & DCs using the DB backup. I know this is slightly a lengthy approach but lot safer one!

Thanks

Diwakar

Hello,

For creating automatic report schedules on a vCloud hierarchy. The ARS policy should be like:

"Hierarchy Attribute" <vCloudEntityId> "Starts With" <VcloudOrgEntity>

For creating automatic report schedules on a vCD in a vCloud hierarchy. The ARS policy should first filter vCloud hierarchy and then filter vDC on on entity level which looks like:

       "Attribute" <vCloudEntityId> "Starts With" <VcloudVdcEntity>

Hope this helps.

Regards

Diwakar

Re: Hourly Usage for Computing Resources

Savita,

I am afraid whether the generated **hourly** report will be accurate! Please refer to "Inconsistent usage and cost data reported" section in release notes. Chargeback server computes the usage and cost using the coarse grain stats (weighted average) information collected from vCenter. The order of stats preference by Chargeback server is 1 day --> 2 hour --> 30 mins --> 5 mins. It deletes the lower granular samples/stats after 2 days.

Thanks

Diwakar
