Hello everybody,

does anyone know how the list object types is populated?

We've got a thinapped Excel. When I want to insert an object, I only see the locally installed applications in the object types list. We want to insert a thinapped adobe acrobat document (it's there when adobe reader is locally installed). I can't find out how I can add this to this list. Adobe reader has been thinregged.

I hope someone can help me out.

Thank you,

Bjorn

You can also check the filemon too.

I recently solved a problem with this. It is still not clear why it started working afterwards, but it worked ;).

Try to change the attributes.ini to merged or writecopy and try again !

HTH !

Bjorn

Change temp in sandbox

Hello everybody,

recently we did a roll-out for about 200 users for MS Office. Right now we found a problem so we needed to change the %TEMP% directory so it will do a write in the real temp-directory and not the one located in the sandbox.

I can't find a solution for this without completely deleting the sandbox.

Currently all the sandboxes are stilll writing to the %appdata%\thinstall\.... \local settings\temp\.... directory. I changed it in my build so that it right now writes to c:\documents and settings\<username>\local settings\temp. All this works fine. My biggest problem is that it won't start writing to the new location as long as I don't clear the sandbox.

Does anyone know of a good solution to avoid clearing the sandbox from each user ?

Thanks in advance,

Bjorn

There is a nice tool for it. The tool is called putty :).

Log on to your host and type there : ifconfig. There you see per vnic your HW address. This address is the address you need to look for on your blade (table view).

Kind regards
