Win 11 Network - stopped working today - worked ok for a week

Installed the tech preview last week per the instructions, everything went as expected. Then today I can't connect the win 11 vm to the network, Well it works it in Host-Only mode, but that isn't really going to cut it.

I've deleted the network adapter, ensured the vm knows the OS is Win 11, re-added the network adapter, reinstalled the vmware tools, checked the network device looks correct under device manager....

Any other suggestions?
