Awesome, thank you for clarifying what's actually going on, I was going insane trying to figure out if my VM was broken or not. You don't happen to know (or are allowed to say) when we could expect a full release or an update fixing this?

Thank you so much, Portal 2 works perfectly when turning off Anti-Aliasing. Unfortunately Overwatch 2 crashes before I have the chance to go into the settings and turning it off, because menu-background features a lot of 3D models. But thanks again, this was definitely the issue. Hopefully this will be fixed by the VMware team when the beta gets a full release

Portal 2 uses DirectX 9 and Overwatch 2 uses DirectX 11, so they should be supported.

I've tried to play Portal 1 & 2 and Overwatch 2 on my M1 MacBook with Windows 11 on the Tech Preview, and while I managed to get Portal 1 to work after a bit of tinkering I get a Blue Screen Of Death with DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION when I try to go beyond the menu in Portal 2 and a couple of seconds after the menu of Overwatch 2 loads (around when the 3D graphics would start to load). I've tried increasing cores, since that helped me when launching Portal 1, but no luck. VRAM is also set to max. Any ideas on what I can do to load the games?
