The vSphere Client does not allow you to provide a name for a standard switch when you create it. Instead, it will automatically assign a name like vSwitch0, vSwitch1, and so on. This is a restriction of the vSphere Client.

The switch will be created with the default name vSwitch0,vSwitch1, etc..

If you want to create a standard switch with a custom name, you can do so from the ESXi Shell. To do this, run the following command

esxcli network vswitch standard create -d <name>

where <name> is the custom name for the switch.

Ex:- esxcli network vswitch standard create -d InterntSwitch

Hi,

Can you please reinstall certificate again & use the option "Automatically Select the certificate store based on the type of certificate" rather than manually select it. (please use the Mozilla Firefox)

Please let me know the exact steps that you are followed to import the certificate. ( I know that you are followed https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2147256. but need to know the process you followed)

No I have tried using both versions. I thought that error is specific to the 8.12. but same error was triggered in 8.10 also

Hello There,

I have deployed the vROPs 8.10.2 & 8.12 on vCenter 7.0.2 17694817 server & it is completed without any errors. But when I am going to add data nodes & witness node it is gives a error message "FIPS 142-2 status of this node is not compatible with the other node in the cluster"

I have tried both ways without & with enabling FIPS & after deploying & within the deploy wizard but both are failed.

How can I solved this issue?
