Package for new application never finishes packaging

I use App Volumes Manager to create new App stacks. something changed recently. I am trying to add ANSYS 2021.

I created the app in the App volumes manager. Created the package, linked it to the provisioning server, initiated packaging then installed the program. All is well so far. The program installs, I finish the packaging and get the message that it must reboot and I must log back in to the provisioning server to finish the packaging process. I reboot and log back in as normal, but there is no pop up box saying that the packaging is complete. It also usually reminds me to revert the provisioning machine to the latest snapshot. Nothing there. It is just the normal provisioning server desktop. So I wait, and wait... after about 30 minutes, I gave up and logged out and reverted the provisioning machine.

I go to the app volumes manager and look at the package. the status is:

Cancled (Packaged: about 1 hour on Windows 10 (x64))

Did I just not wait long enough? all the apps I have done before have the notices pop up well under a minute of me logging back on the provisioning machine. Thoughts?

How to query Horizon event database for user information.

We will be updating our Horizon to 2106 over the Christmas break. We will be running around 120, 5470 AIO Thin clients and 30, 5470 mobile clients.

We have several images the students have access to. Some have NVIDIA Tesla M10 support ( AutoCAD, ArcGIS, SESAM etc,..) and some do not. Our director wants us to use the 2106 features to monitor the usage of the Thin clients, how many people are logged in, how long they stay logged in, how much the Tesla cards are being used and any other user info we can get.

What is the easiest way to accomplish this? Will there be built in functions to accomplish this? Will we have to utilize programed queries and reports?

He also told me that I can query the Horizon events database with SQL commands. Can I accomplish any of the above now or do I really need to wait until we finish the upgrade?

I do not have any experience with the reporting aspects of Horizon. If I need to start learning SQL programming or other skills, I am trying to find out earlier than later.

Thank you for any information you may be able to provide.
