In vSphere 7 when we add valid certificate to host and then try to add in vCenter. vCenter auto replace the SSL with own SSL. Due to this when we try to run console over secure website then getting server handshake issue. If we run host in another browser and accept the SSL warning then it works. So it is not the solution for it.

Is there any way to connect HTML console in web browser using webscocket?

I am trying this one https://www.vmware.com/support/developer/html-console/html-console-21-releasenotes.html#using

It works if valid certificate is installed on both sides host and website.

Do we can connect console with private network means my host is on private network??

Thanks

Re: HTML 5 Console SDK not working in vSphere 6.5

Same issue I am getting. To fix this issue I download ESXi certificate and download on my computer after that hit ESXi host URL to accept not secure waring in browser and then hit console view file after that its worked fine.

After that I installed valid SSL on my ESXi host and then its working fine and handshake error gone.

So, I think it is SSL certificate issue. By default with ESXi there is not SSL installed.

If you have another way without installing SSL on ESXi then please let me know.
