I don't think either of these are necessary when contacting VMware Support.

Does your environment have its own orchestrator?

I am using VMware managed orchestrator VMware SD-WAN and have never built my own orchestrator environment.

So I can't provide an answer.

The behavior of Edge depends on the Edge software version.
In this case, Edge version 5.0.1.4 is affected.

Of course, the functions handled by Orchestrator will work with Orchestrator's software version 5.2.

Is it the opposite port of Edge's GE3?
If you know GE3 to be a routed port,
I think the opposite port should also be routed.

Edge packets are processed by routing. In this case, it's a good idea to check the Edge's routing table.
Also, overlays cannot be enabled on switching ports. I think it would be good to set it to a routed port and configure a secondary interface.

Is the path you want to communicate with the red line?
This path is from WAN to LAN.

Since this path will be underlay, I think it will be communicated regardless of the VCG.

Overlay Flow Control does not show routes to the VCG.
If you refer to the Route Table of the Edge, you will see that there is a path to the VCG.

DELL Edge has "BIOS/CPLD/PIC ", but VMware SD-WAN does not.

I checked with VMware on SR ,Factory Software Image installation is possible via USB boot, but Firmware is not.
I got the Factory Software Image with SR from VMware.
