What's wrong with the VixCOM Type Library in VMWare VIX 1.17.0 API for Workstation Player 14?

Hello,

I can not find a VixCOM type library and it's OLE Automation Server files in VMWare VIX 1.17.0 API for Workstation Player 14.

Is this a bug in the release or the VixCOM was intentionally excluded from distribution?

PS: I need a way to control (connect and disconnect) network interfaces of VMWare Workstation/Player guest machine from my application.

I can't find how to do this manipulations with VIX API.

If VIX is deprecated, what SDK can I use to manage the VMWare Workstation & VMWare Player?

I can't find any word about VMWare Workstation in "VMware vSphere Automation SDK for .NET Programming Guide".
