i belive the file you mensioned related to Visual C++ Redistributables , so try the below:

1 -be sure to iuse the latest version of jabber release 12.6(2).

2-in master image Select go to add remove program , select Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable and click on Change then reapir

im sure its not a port issue

as winsows loading and you can see windows loaing blue screen but it lost in loop while loading DEM policiese and sometimnes in Appvolume , it keep loaing and never have open the windows

i have strange issue with Horizon 7.10 , where i can connect to windows 10 vDesktops from my local Lan , but once i go to same desktop in same pool and try to connect externally from internet , windows console open and then stuck in apply DEM or sometime in Appvolumes applying configuration and windows stuck here

knowing that im using UAG 3.8 with horizon 7.10 and smart policy applied to disable some featuers if client location is extrenal

any idea what could be the issue ?

go for dedicated desktops pool (not floating), where you pick first time and then every time the user will connect to same desktop

in both cases , the print job will be initiated from the VDI desktop toward the network printer (from central VDI to branch or remote location where the printer location )

with print server you are adding additional stop that would cache and ease the management

since it random , this mean there will be something not right in backed-end infrastructure,

it can be latency or reachability issue or timeout

and some times there will be firewall or network inspection do this behavior

you can enable the Auto Connect List in zero client , its feature in Horizon client and its available in zero and thin client, so by default the thin/zero client will connect to pool and will not show the list of pools

You can set a registry entry which will disable updates. This can be very handy if you wish to apply this setting to many machines via group policy / logon scripts. To apply via the registry do the following.

Make sure adobe reader dc application is closed
Click start type in regedit and launch the regedit aplication
Browse to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\FeatureLockDown]
Right click > New > dword 32bit
name it bUpdater
set base as hexadecimal and value data set to 0 (the number zero) as below
close down regedit

did anyone tired before to get the Horizon connect to SIEM solution, we need to connect :

1- Horizon server

2- App volumes

3- DEM

please let me know if you did this before as in documentation we can only see that you can configure the Horizon with Syslog

and what about VROPs for Horizon?|

im facing this issue alot ,and in most of cases there would be one of the below installed :

1- SCCM agent

2- AV agent

3- Desktop management or control agents

4- Security agents

so my advice go and use vanilla windows ,install the agent then go to other agents installations

it must be in domain , because when you provision Appstack you need to map it to VM(capture VM) , you would search with DNS name and if it not in domain you will not find it , so in order to proceed you will have to join it to domain

just in zero client configuration , instead of Connection server IP/URL ,put the Desktop IP address

in the desktop be sure to install Horizon agent + Direct agent , and also have user account configured in the same VM

when connecting if it ask about domain use the VM ip address or dns name

It’s best practice to disable as many update agents and services as possible. I always disable or uninstall the following components:

– Windows Update Services
– Antivirus and any security Agent/Services (if installed)
– Horizon Agent (if installed)
– SCCM Client / Services (if installed)
– Microsoft App-V Client (if installed)

- remove Any other filter driver applications

for Java and .Net , its recommended to removed it so the application which you install com e with its library and requirements as java

i prefer also to to uninstall appellations too as MS office
