Hi Ctucci,

I would guess that the lookup service is not beeing updated.
Could you try to either replace the Certifcate Using the certificate-manager over SSH or Update the Lookup Service.

which vCenter Version are you trying to run.

And just to let you know the vCenter Server Appliance is only supported on vSphere ESXi, and not in VMware Player.

Hi,

sorry for the inconvenience, our Log Insight team is currently working on this issue.

The current workaround would be to connect to the Log Insight using the IP first.

This will assure that the Content will load, and after that you should be able to use the FQDN again.

I can confirm that you can change the setting in vSphere 6.7 U2.

So if it is not in your H5 Client right now I would say use the FLEX client and wait for the Update.

If you change the vCenter License first, then connect to the host and change the licenses there, you are able to reconnect them.
After the migration of the workloads, you change the license of the new host to Essential, and then the vCenter back to it's old license.

But please make sure that you have the right amount of licenses in you my.vmware.com account.

It is not possible to add more then 3 Hosts per vCenter. But you could do that if you have a not used Enterprise License lying around.

To remove the old Certificates from the Trusted Root you may want to follow the next steps:

Backup the PSC and the vCenter Server
Get the list of the current TRUSTED_ROOTS in use
1. Check the Certificates in the vecs on the PSC and VCSA

for store in $(/usr/lib/vmware-vmafd/bin/vecs-cli store list | grep -v TRUSTED_ROOT_CRLS); do echo "[*] Store :" $store;\

/usr/lib/vmware-vmafd/bin/vecs-cli entry list --store $store --text | grep -ie -ie "Alias" "Subject" -ie "Issuer"; \

Export the Certificates not in use form the TRUSTED_ROOTS on the PSC

/usr/lib/vmware-vmafd/bin/vecs-cli entry getcert --store TRUSTED_ROOTS --alias "alias from the vecs entry" --output /tmp/"filename"

Unpublish the Certificates from the vmdir on the PSC

/usr/lib/vmware-vmafd/bin/dir-cli trustedcert unpublish --cert <file> --login <admin_user_id> --password <admin_password>

Use the Alias from the unused Certificates to delete the CRL on the PSC

/usr/lib/vmware-vmafd/bin/vecs-cli entry delete --store TRUSTED_ROOT_CRLS -y --alias "alias from the vecs entry"

Force a vecs sync on all nodes

/usr/lib/vmware-vmafd/bin/vecs-cli force-refresh

First of all I am not in the Workstation Team,

Second as this is still a unreleased Version from Windows 10, I would not suggest running it in Production

As far as I remember the So you Start / OVH installer will create a VMFS Volume on the rest of the Disk.
