Thanks, that makes sense. I started doing the math on it a couple days ago and came up with basically the same thing.

Did you ever find a solution? I think I'm experiencing the same thing. I've got our session timeout set to 1380 min (23 hours) but yesterday I noticed about a dozen sessions over 1 day and some over 2 days. Automatic logoff on disconnect is set for 2 hours.

Thanks!

Shane, do you know what exactly the problem was? I just asked VMware support about this and the response I got was exactly the opposite: the agent said that credentials cannot be stored with the user's persona. Thanks!!

Yeah, we're not using Lync either but Exchange Online. Outlook is prompting for a password at each login (and yes our desktops are configured correctly for Office 365/Exchange Online). I found this post yesterday and have a ticket open with VMware: View Persona Management support for CryptProtectData.

Do you remember having to do anything special to make it work? We're capturing the locations below and chosing the "save password" option when starting Outlook but I'm still prompted every day.

\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Credentials

\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Vault

\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Credentials

\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Vault

We're not using Persona in combination with any sort of roaming profile functionality. Maybe some kind of special treatment's needed, like having the Persona policy manage them as if we were using traditional Windows roaming profiles?

Thanks!

I'm sorry, I don't know that I can suggest much else. I wasn't getting any errors at all - the IE10 ThinApp just wouldn't start. I captured it on a clean 32-bit Windows 7 machine and it wouldn't launch at all on any 64-bit Windows 7 system. It didn't give me any errors or other clues. Enabling Wow64=0 and rebuilding the package is what finally worked.

I was able to package 32-bit IE10 on Windows 7. Our physical and virtual hosts all run 64-bit Windows 7, and to get the IE10 ThinApp to run I had to enable the Wow64=0 line in package.ini, then rebuild.
