Voice dictation on ipad air2 with Horizon view client ?

Can anyone please provide the steps to make the Voice dictation from IPAD Air to VDI machine thru the Horizon view Client ?

Environment : Horizon View 6.0 / Windows 7 VDI machines

End Client Devices :IPAD Air

View 6.0 VMware View 6.0 (1004055)

If I upgrade the Vcenter and ESXi first to 5.5 U2 ,the VDI view 5.0.1 is not supported on ESXi 5.5 as per VMware compatibility document .

Is the path still fine to upgrade ?

Vcenter -- ESXi -- View composer -- Connection server -- security server

Can someone please provide the correct path to upgrade the VIEW 5.0.1 to 6.0.1 environment ?

Vcenter - ESxi - View composer - view connection server - view security server

view composer - View Connection server - View security server - Vcenter - ESXi

Compatibility matrix is confusing as View 5.0.1 wont support vcenter/ESxi 5.5 u2 and I am no sure if I can upgrade them first before upgrading the VIEW connection servers

I need some help to understand the setup for the vCenter Heartbeat 6.5 installation .

Enviornemnt Details -

I have a VCenter and SQL 2008 Server setup on seperate Virtual servers

Need to setup vCenter Heartbeat 6.5 on two new Vcenter / SQL Server Virtual servers

Steps Implemented -

Cloned Vcenter and installed the Heartbeat on both of them with proper Channel network

SQL Clone /replication - Pending

Question -

Do I need to clone the existing SQL server with database and install the HeartBeat on both SQL virtual servers? Please let me know

Thanks ....But doing this step , it still displays the https MARKED in red on the View Client .

Attached the screenshot , We never had this issue in 4.6 .

Can we setup Self-signed SSL certificate with View 5? As I get error message after upgrading the View environment from 4.6 to 5.0 for both Internal and external conenctions .

Error Message :

Vmware View Canot verify the identity of the server you have contacted . Your credentials will not be secure .Contact your administrator to ask if this server can be trusted.

Just FYI , we dont have a CA server or any thridparty SSL certifcate .

Can we restrict printers from a virtual desktop in View enviornment ? As we want to restrict all remote users to restrict printing from local printer and network printers.

Its resolved , after uninstalling the View agent and tools from the parent machine and rebooted the machine. Re-installed VMware tools and Agent and re-deployed the linked clones and everything started working.

Now I get this error "View Composer agent initialization state error (18): Failed to join the domain (waited 790 seconds)" After Re-compose with the Master image changes to registry as per the link

Yes , this feature worked before and all of sudden it Stopped working for any deployments . I tried with different templates and images to check it and its still same issue .

It just stays on customizing

Yes , domain Credentials and correct and its creating a computer account in OU successfully .

Its not adding the machine to the domain and also the customizing status always remains same after deployment and never completes the task to available

View deployment status remains at customizing and never becomes available! Any suggestions will be helpful.

Attempted the below settings already

- DC /DNS settings are fine and tested

- VIEW Service account and permissions are correct and the computer accounts gets created .

- Tested with custom script and also with quick prep still same issue

Only pending task during the customizing “it unable to add it to the domain “

Tested both the given options and none of them worked and I still have same issues .

DNS is wokring properly on VDI machine/View connection server and Vcenter .

View Agent with composer option re-installed and tested but no luck .
