Offline upgrade 4.0.0 to 4.0.1

We've deployed the appliance on 4.0.0 using the OVA and are now trying to do the upgrade to 4.0.1 in an airgapped environment.

What is the process for importing the offline upgrade bundle to the appliance? All mentions in the docs still refer to the old process using the ISO.

Seems download and install of the VMware Skyline Health Diagnostics using the ISO install media file has been deprecated starting from version 4.0 onwards.

Well, I see we have OVA as well as an Patch bundle available for 4.0.1-22433617 to download from customer connect portal which could be used to perform upgrade for offline environment.

Found a solution.

Upload the offline bundle to the appliance, extract it and then run the vmware-shd-patch-4.0.1/stageupdate. Reboot when prompted. The docs should be updated to include the new patching method for offline environments.
