topic Cloning a VM from a different cluster in vSphere SDK for Java Discussions

Hi,

I'm triying to clone a virtual machine using java library (vim25); the virtual machine file is in one cluster, and the destination cluster is a different cluster. If both clusters are the same, the clone task is working perfectly, but if the vm files are not in the destination cluster, I get the next error:

Unable to access the virtual machine configuration: Unable to access file [vsan-PRE-cccvcn0vceni001-c3clcn2prep004-vsan01] b5b27361-42b7-92d0-d73d-7a0d4680001e/rhel_6.9_64_STD_latest_2021-10-15.vmtx

Where rhel_... is the template file. Is there any way to specify that the origin cluster is the good one, so the file can be found?

Thanks in advance,

Javier.
