VMware Workstation/Player 14.1.2 breaks VIX 1.17.0

Hi,

I've just upgraded to VMware Workstation 14.1.2 from the previous 14.1.1. I am now no longer able to start virtual machines using the current VIX 1.17.0 API.

Invoking VixVM_PowerOn returns 1 ("Unknown error").

Looking at the vmware-vix log, I think the relevant lines that shows the issue is below:

The underlying error appears to the the "-13 Schema mismatch".

Hi, I have the same messages in vix log, but in my case I have also error message in vmx log, see Error "Failed to load the KeyLocator cache from VMHS"
