Create TZ from NSX API

Dear Team,

I was doing NSXV Migration Lab, while performing "TASK 2: REVIEW THE NSX-T DATA CENTER CONFIGURATION" , need clarity on below point marked in bold.

Review the transport zone information.
The following default transport zones are present:

nsx-overlay-transportzone
nsx-vlan-transportzone

A third transport zone called nsx-t-overlay-tz was created from the NSX API to avoid duplication of MAC addresses between the NSX Data Center for vSphere and NSX-T Data Center environments.

You can click anywhere in the screen to resume the simulation.

How to create Transport zone through NSX API, Also let me know if we create TZ then MAC address will conflict between NSXV & NSX-T environment, if there is some documentation/KB is there please share the same.

Hi,

Creating a new TZ won't resolve the MAC address conflict issue. Here is the link to change the MAC address of NSX-T Virtual distributed Router
