You can make use of DEM's privilege elevation feature.

https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-Dynamic-Environment-Manager/2106/com.vmware.dynamic.environment.manager-adminguide/GUID-0B33E3DF-8906-4B75-B262-C598FB660E9E.html

Hi @fborges555,

DEM's privilege elevation feature can be used to allow non-admin users to install applications. If your users have local admin rights, there's no need to use that feature, as they will be able to do so anyway.

you might be meaning writeable volumes? they give the ability to have "user installed applications" on floating pools
