VMWare 15 client ask for tools update

Hi,

I run Vmware under linux ( ubuntu/fedora ), when I start a windows VM it ask to update the tools to 10.3.2 , if i click on update i get an error " unable to update.."

So I downloaded the latest tools from the site 10.3.10 unpacked and installed on the VMs, still every time it ask the same question !!!!

How I can get rid of that message ?

I have exactly the same problem. I have purchased vmware workstation pro v14 which is hosted on my linux desktop (kubuntu v19). it's a very annoying problem.
