Virtual Audio Delay Unless Given Direct Access to Host Audio Hardware

Hi There,

I am curious if anybody has experienced this issue before, I have Vmware Worksatation Pro 16 running a Windows 10 Pro OS, for the most part everything works quite well. However I noticed that there is a lip sync issue in sound (example you tube or other videos) when using the Virtual Soundcard, the only way I can seem to fix the issue is by giving the VM direct access to the HOST sound hardware (which in turn takes it away from the host). In my case I have a USB Audio DAC that also supports Toslink (optical cable), I tried switching to the optical input but the result was the same.

Has anybody been able to get the virtual soundcard to work properly in sync with the host physical sound?
