Workstation 15.5.7 WIn10 Pro / Win10 Pro "Unity is not supported in the guest operating system"

Sometime in about the past 1-2 months one of my Windows 10 guests has stopped allowing Unity. Other Win10 guests switch to unity just fine. This one used to, but I haven't attempted to use unity for a while so I don't know precisely when it failed.

Host and guest are both W10 Pro 64.

I've tried reinstalling VMWare Tools, also uninstalling and reinstalling, also upgrading to Workstation 15.5.7. (I don't know what version I had most recently updated to).

I have done a full Windows 10 Repair Upgrade.

Full screen / fit guest now / fit window now / autosize all work as expected.

What could be the problem with this one guest that is breaking unity?

I was just experience this along with some other broken functionality - It seemed like after a update to the vm.. My Forticlient VPN was not working also.. From a reddit post (https://www.reddit.com/r/fortinet/comments/lpr8ux/anyone_having_javascript_error_on_main_process/) I found link to reinstall C++

After I installed the C++ redist and restart the Forticlient VPN was working and copy and paste between virtual machines was working.
