BSOD on powering on Ubuntu, Windows 10

I'm new to VMs and recently installed Workstation on my Windows 10. However whenever I power on Ubuntu, I get BSOD with the stop code SYSTEM_EXCEPTION_ERROR. I've tried disabling USA Arbitration as suggested by some other posts but it didn't work.

I have tried this with both the 15.5 and 16.0 version. BSOD happens in both.
