    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Team,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I tried to start one of the VM in the VMware workstation which through the below error message&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"&lt;STRONG&gt;Unable to open file "D:\Vmware Workstation VM's\******\Commvault01.vmdk":&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;One of the disks in this virtual machine is already in use by a virtual machine or by a snapshot.&lt;/STRONG&gt;"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Future I surfed in few blogs and most of them suggested to delete .lck folder and try. But No Luck. Please help me to resolve this issue.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Moderator: Moved to &lt;STRONG&gt;Workstation Pro Discussions&lt;/STRONG&gt; (though you may be using Workstation Player) - not a vSphere matter. It will also help others to help you if you give your Workstation version, and any clues as to whether the VM has ever worked.&lt;/P&gt;
