Thanks. I manage to get back the acess by removing VMWare then reinstalling the previous version. I will check hyperv next time I try to upgrade VMWare. I really thought hyperv was gone thought.

I updated VMWare Workstation to the latest version and I can no longer open my VM. Here is the error message

Error while powering on: Transport (VMDB) error -14: Pipe connection has been broken.

I attached the log. The VM was probably not turned off but suspended. I have seen advice of resetting the VM but I don't understand how.

Device Guard and Credential Guard, Hyper-V, Virtual Machine Platform, Windows Hipervisor Platform are deactivated and the machine was rebooted multiple time

FYI you don't have all of Hyper-V disabled. The Monitor mode is being shown as ULM, which indicates Hyper-V is in use.

I'd shut down Workstation and copy the folder holding the VM to another location before doing anything else.

Then, see the advice in KB article https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/1006111 where it discusses deleting the .vmss and .lck (if they exist) files, then making sure that the .vmx file correctly reflects the state of the virtual machine.
