Hi,

I'm having some issues with my VM together with Siemens TIA-Portal. (I believe this problem is on the VMware side)

The host holds a folder which contains the Siemens "Project-folder" then the VM has the software running which uses this "Project-folder" via a share. (Software = Siemens TIA-Portal)

The project opens up fine, but all of a sudden and not always when the project is about to be saved the problem occurs that:

"The compiler could not access the following file or folder: 'Z:\Siemens\VMware Projects\XXX"

Does anyone have an idea what this could be about? Is it about read/write access defined in the Host or something to edit within the Guest?

I can open the folder without any problems in the explorer, it just seems almost like it's disconnecting from the shared folder for a little while.

I'm sorry if this isn't exacly clear, but I'll answer questions for anyone that's willing to help out.

OBS: This isn't a problem I have had with the previous versions of VMware Player.
