We keep running into weird little issues when disconnects. I have one user that when connecting through a docking stations would get disconnected and we had to hard reset her VDI. Once we figured it was the docking station we had her not use it. Was a Dell Docking station. She is using an LG Gram. We have since started using these USB C Plugable Docking station and she just had another disconnect. When you look at the event log for the machine is just says Audit failure:

Audit failure
06/07/2022, 10:37 AM
Connection Server
xxxx
Unable to launch from Pool vdi8-xxx for user domain\user: There were no machines available that reported protocol [BLAST] as ready

The only way to get this user connected again is hard reset her VDI. We are using nVidia GPU for these VM's if that matters. I saw something about USB redirection maybe causing the issue.

Our second user was having an issue using the same docking station but they didn't have the lan connected so they were using wireless and again I had to hard reset the VDI for them to get back in. I then had them hard wire but when she resized the VDI session screen it disconnected. I just created a new VDI for her and it seems to be working better which really doesn't make sense since I'm just using a golden image so would be very similar setup.

Any help to troubleshoot this is greatly appreciated. We are wasting tons of time trying to resolve these issues.

Any updates on this - beginning to see this in our 7.13

User can try again in a few and it connects and/or you see a failed entry followed by a success entry in Events

read the certificate in the golden image KB from 2017 - have not conclude it's relevant to today's build.

We have this exact same issue with our Horizon 8 install. We have to go to vsphere and shut the offending vm off.
