    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi all - &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I need to move the App Volumes Database (Version 2.15) from SQL 14 Enterprise to SQL 16 Enterprise. Is there a KB Article on doing this? Its a Single Instance App Volumes Server. Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

You should then be able to do the following.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Stop App Volumes services&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Backup the SQL database on the original&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Restore the SQL database to the new server&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Reconfigure the ODBC connection&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;A href="https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-App-Volumes/2.15/com.vmware.appvolumes.install.doc/GUID-FDF07301-8F94-489F-9A5F-1C2081828BDD.html" title="https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-App-Volumes/2.15/com.vmware.appvolumes.install.doc/GUID-FDF07301-8F94-489F-9A5F-1C2081828BDD.html"&gt;Configure a SQL Server ODBC Connection&lt;/A&gt;​&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Start App Volumes services&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Test and validate functionality&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
