topic Question about View's Use of SSL in Horizon Desktops and Apps

All,

I need some info. VMWare's product overview for the View infrastructure mentions that it "uses SSL tunneling to ensure all connections are completely encrypted." So my question is when does this occur ,and between which components? Is it only used for authentication, or the entire session (e.g., from the time the user logs into the View Portal til he logs off / shuts down the VM and terminates his session in the View Portal)? Thanks.
