topic Fusion connecting to ESX on M1 error in VMware Fusion Discussions

So I understand that Fusion doesn't work to host guests on the M1, but I can't even use it as a console for my ESX environments. Gives an error that the machine has had issues and Fusion is restarting it (which luckily it isn't). I get that trying to virtualize an intel chip on apple silicon isn't a near-term thing, but you'd think it would be able to at least function as a console for ESX instances? Has there been any word on this yet or has VMWare lost it's hold on Apple platforms completely?

Hi,

I'd say that for the moment you'd probably be better off using VMRC from VMware, see here:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/vmware-remote-console/id1230249825
