topic System events wants to control in VMware Fusion Discussions https://communities.vmware.com/t5/VMware-Fusion-Discussions/System-events-wants-to-control/m-p/2819405#M171556 <P>I think i know whats causing this, but the&nbsp; VMWare Applications icon on menu bar is shown every restart of my Mac, despite the option in VMWare Preferences to "Never" show it..&nbsp; It does honer the icon not showing, ut only unil you restart..</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>The option still continues to state to "Never" but the icon shows, I think this could be due to System Events being denied access.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>When i installed Fusion t asked me weather i would want "System Events" to control. I clicked "Don't Allow" mainly for privacy reason.&nbsp; I wouldn't mind if it was "only" controlling the display of the icon, but not when it can also control the app as wel without any user intervention on a case-case-basis..</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>However, i think its ether an "all" or "nothing" approach...
