topic Specify iSCSI nic port binding via vCLI perl script? in vSphere Command-Line Interface Discussions

Does the API support iSCSI port binding within a vCLI perl script? I am looking at the esxcli-vmknic.pl script and the comments at the end seem to be pointing me to the esxcli.exe command:

“Use the C<esxcli swisis nic> command to specify NIC bindings for VMkernel NICs.”

The misspelling of “esxcli swiscsi nic” is from the script itself, so you have to search for “swisis” to find it.

If there is a way to do port binding from a perl script I would appreciate a pointer to an example. I don’t think esxcli.exe on the command line is going to work for my application.

Thanks
