vCenter HA management IP of active and passive node different subnet

Anybody had luck with setting vCenter HA where active and passive nodes have different management IP addresses. If they are the same shared then it is OK however i couldnt get it to work with IP addresses different and in different subnet

I have seen all the articles but simply it gives me this error no matter what i do wheter i do cloning or do automatically provision passive and witness node

The operation is not allowed in the current state. The management interface (NIC0) IP address does not map to the vCenter Server PNID

if they share IP address then it is all good

vcenter is 7.03
