Hello everyone,

Is there a step-by-step manual for upgrading VCSA 7 HA to VCSA 8 HA. Or is it better to uninstall HA (High Availability) in vCenter and upgrade to VCSA 8 version and then install HA (High Availability).

Thanks in advance

I as about to reply with disable HA -> upgrade -> enable HA, but then I found Upgrading vCenter Server in High Availability Environments after a quick search in the documentation .

Below are manual steps discussed to upgrade VC in HA environment .

https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/8.0/vsphere-vcenter-upgrade/GUID-98EB2800-DED8-4268-AB6C-54D2A9B34B9F.html

However, it would easy to remove the VCHA configuration and then later once upgraded re-enable vcha

Regards

Harry
