Usually the 192.168.x.&lt;STRONG&gt;1&lt;/STRONG&gt; address is in use by routers (gateway address), so this could be a duplicate IP address issue!?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;André&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;There's something wrong with the network settings for the virtual networks. Did you modify them manually?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;By default the address range for "Host-Only" (vmnet1) and "NAT (vmnet8) and the local network are different. I'd recommend you reset the virtual network to default and then set an appropriate IP address from the configured network (Bridged, Host-Only or NAT) for the ESX VM.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;André&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
