My setup is a HPE Microserver G8 (16GB Ram) with a HP P222 RAID controller. Raid is level 6 with 4 x 4GB HDD. vSphere Hypervisor 6.5 HP custom image. vSphere is installed and running on a internal 32GB SD card. Not sure if this is a perfect setup and quite sure I do not have much experience about vm but just want to play and to learn about virtualization.</P><P></P><P>One thing that bothers me so far is frequently HDD access (every 2-3 seconds) even when there is no vm running and vSphere seems to be idle.</P><P></P><P>Does this HDD access deals with scratch or some kind of logging? How can I cross check this?
