    <description>&lt;P&gt;You need to install open-vmtools within the Ubuntu VM&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;server:&amp;nbsp;sudo apt install open-vm-tools&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;desktop:&amp;nbsp;sudo apt install open-vm-tools-desktop open-vm-tools&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;then reboot&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;you can check if they have installed by running&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;lsmod | grep vmw&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have esxi7 with 1 vm into it and run on baremetal.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i have ubuntu22 vm working fine, but can't install or activare vmwaretools.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;all menu are grayed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;any help plz?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
